Great weekend. Just a brief note. Friday afternoon nice 12m weather. kited from Ynyslas down to Both to the lifeboat station and beyond. Had a good look at the new sea defences (Dunk and Derek went down also). Saturday looked promising 9m weather but by the time I'd had a leisurely breakfast it eased so went out on the 12, but it gradually eased to the point of struggling to stay upwind by lunchtime - however the sun came out in compensation and Neil flew his electric helis, so a pleasant enough afternoon on the beach. Went down to Borth for food and beer... Sunday was breezy at 7.30am so and forecast was for rain later on. A couple of kites arrived early so despite the high tide, got a launch from Steve off the top of the shingle and out for an early session in the first decent sized waves of the autumn for me. 9m weather for 2.5 hours and then the waves went mushy as the tide went out. Lots of others setting up but I'd had enough fun in the conditions by then. Got back home and kit rinsed just before the rain really set in. Perfect timing.
